Freshly Squeezed FS-240 Cold Juice Press

The FS-240 all-stainless hydraulic press accommodates eight press bags, each flanked by our patented heavy-duty “wave” boards for maximum juice extraction. Juice is collected in a specially designed 24 gallon pan with a stainless sanitary valve and discharge allowing easy transfer of juice to a bucket (provided) or sanitary pumping system for central collection.The FS-240 hydraulic juice press is designed with high-volume cider and/or juice producers in mind. It is capable to produce up to 480 gallons of juice per hour. Flexibility is key to producing multiple juice blends in high volumes. Large, fixed position (in-place), multi-layer presses generate high liquid volumes, but are too cumbersome to change over for different products. Press bags and boards are actuated by two heavy duty, all-stainless, hydraulic cylinders. The simple and clean cartridge-style design allows the entire 8-layer press zone to be rotated for pomace/cake removal. A pomace/cake collection bin is provided to make waste removal simple and efficient. No hassle, no mess, safe operation, and no need to remove press bags between press cycles.

Commissioned by juicing industry specialists who understand the needs of a modern juicing consumer, the FS-240 cold press has many unique features:

• Wash down design allowing spraying of the whole machine while cleaning.
• Electropolished surface providing an easy-to-clean coating.
• Wavy pressing plates ensuring better distribution of the applied force on the product in the bag from top to bottom instead of side to side avoiding bag “bursts” and producing higher yield.
• 2 emergency stop buttons – on both sides of the press.
• Welded easy-to-clean seams as opposed to “bolt together” construction methods that create crevices and require silicone sealants a subject to wear and tears.

The FS-240, as well as all FS cold presses are designed to keep the operator safe. The FS presses also have safety guards, 2 emergency stops, circuit protection on all the motors, wet environment plug and cord, and main electrical disconnect. These are some of our advvantages over the competition.
